Our multi-generational, Black-led team works to equip Lexingtonians with accurate historical and current information in the service of repairing the harms of racial injustice. We particularly aim to support a more authentic, holistic Black identity in Lexington and beyond.

Now we are making a dynamic, feature-length documentary that tells Black Lexington's story of resilience.

This documentary is a joint venture of Black Yarn and the Lexington Black Prosperity Initiative at Blue Grass Community Foundation.
