The Lexington Black Prosperity Initiative at Blue Grass Community Foundation was created to pursue the goal of strengthening, supporting, and making a meaningful impact in Black communities.
For five years, LBPI has been Lexington’s home for community-led investment in Black prosperity. We don’t just write checks, we build power. Every grant, every gift, and every gathering is shaped by one guiding question: What does it take for Black communities in Lexington to truly thrive?
